Fila: The Origins of the Sportswear Company.
Ever since it was founded in Italy back in 1911, it has held true to its commitment to providing the best when it comes to sportswear. Today, it is among the largest manufacturing companies in sportswear and is now headquartered in South Korea.
Originally, Fila started out as a primary manufacturer of underwear, created by the Fila brothers in Biella, Piedmont. They also made clothing for people of all ages in the Italian Alps. In the 1970s, the company moved into the production of different kinds of sportswear including socks, shoes, clothing and many more. Fila had made such a big impact in the world of running that it started to design shoes that would complement the run. Over the years, Fila had also ventured into the manufacturing of shoes and apparel for other sports including tennis as well as mountain sports. In spring of 2006, Fila were able to inspire fashion through the creation of footwear and apparel in golf.
Currently, Fila is the biggest South Korean sportswear company. Despite tough competitions all over the world, it continues to show top performance and is still on the top of their game, just like the sports superstars who use the brand.
